A broad trough extends from central Queensland through northeastern NSW to the
Tasman Sea, producing a middle level cloudband and some isolated thunderstorms.

A cold front with some middle level cloud and isolated thunderstorms is moving
across Victoria, Tasmania and NSW, with a pool of cold air behind it indicated
by the patchy low cloud.

A trough and tropical low to the north of the country are producing widespread
thunderstorms with some high cloud from these storms being brought down over
northern Australia.

Upper level jet is streaming high level cloud over the Pilbara region of WA.
Isolated thunderstorms near Exmouth is due to a surface trough.
