A band of middle and high level cloud is streaming from central Australia
through South Australia and across the remainder of the southeast. This feature
is associated with low pressure trough and upper level trough. Isolated
thunderstorms are embedded in the cloud band over the Pastoral districts of
South Australia and central Australia. Thunderstorms are also active over
northern districts of Western Australia and the Top End.

A southwesterly airstream is generating areas of low cloud along the southwest
Western Australia coast. A cold front is approaching the west coast of Tasmania.
A stronger front is visible further west over the Southern Ocean. Mostly clear
conditions across the remainder of the country apart from patchy low cloud along
the Queensland coast due to onshore winds.
