A high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea is directing a moist onshore flow and patchy low cloud onto the New South Wales and southern Queensland coasts.
Further inland, areas of low and middle level convective cloud can be seen over the interior of Queensland and the northeast interior of New South Wales and are due to a weak surface trough and upper low.
A cold front and its associated cloud band are moving across the southwest of WA while an area of cold-air convective cloud behind the front is approaching the far southwest of the state.
