Ex-Tropical Cyclone "Frances" is located off the Kimberley coast of Western
Australia and features frequent thunderstorm activity. High level cloud is
streaming off this system across northern WA into central and eastern parts of
the country. Ex-Tropical Cyclone "Greg", is west of Christmas Island.

Patchy middle level cloud covers much of Victoria and NSW from an upper level
trough.

A cloud band associated with a cold front is moving across the southeastern
states. Much of the continent is cloud free due to a ridge of high pressure.
