IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 1200UTC chart on 30 May 2015 Issued at 12:11 am EST Sunday on 31 May 2015 A broad, slow moving cloud band extends from the central interior of Western Australia through northern parts of South Australia and across New South Wales. This cloud is due to an upper level trough. An area of convective cloud over the north coast of the Top End is associated with a weak trough and an easterly surge over the Arafura Sea. An area of high cloud streams from this mass across the Northern Territory and into western Queensland. A cold front to the south of Tasmania is moving northeast and low cloud associated with this system covers Tasmania. Patchy low level cloud lies over parts of the SA coast and also about the tropical Queensland coast due to a moist onshore airstream.
