A cold front has now crossed Tasmania but tilts back over eastern Victoria. It
is generating an extensive cloud band that stretches from the Northern Territory
to southeast of Tasmania. Areas of thunderstorm activity are evident,
particularly over northcentral New South Wales. A mass of cold air is south of
the Bight. An onshore airstream is bringing low cloud to southern WA and SA in
the wake of the cold front.
