A broad area of patchy middle-level cloud extends from northern parts of the
Territory to the far northeast of New South Wales and is associated with a
trough. Isolated thunderstorms remain embedded within the cloud mass about the
Top End and Gulf Country while isolated thunderstorms can also be seen about
parts of Tropical North Queensland.

A cold front is crossing Victoria and the southeast of South Australia. The
remainder of Australia is mostly cloud free apart from very isolated convective
cloud about western New South Wales to the east of another trough.
