A cold front with a broad area of thunderstorms lies over the Tasman Sea. Patchy
low cloud can be seen behind the front over Victoria and aross the ranges in
NSW.

Middle level cloud extends over the Interior and the Pilbara districts of
Western Australia and this is due to an upper level trough. Onshore winds are
resulting in patchy cloud about the North Tropical Coast of Queensland.

Patchy low level cloud is also visible along the coast of South Australia due to
an onshore wind flow.

The rest of the country remains clear under a high pressure ridge.
