A trough stretches from the Top End to southeast Queensland with convective
cloud near the trough. A low over southern Tasman Sea extends a cold front to
central coast of NSW. Southwesterly airstream behind this front is bringing
areas of low cloud with scattered showers to southern Victoria, and southwestern
Tasmania.

In the west, a band of mid level cloud with embedded thunderstorms extends over
the western Bight. This is associated with a broad low complex with its main
centre near Albany.

High level jetstream cloud is crossing NSW while onshore winds are causing low
cloud along near east coast of Cape York.
