A surface trough and associated upper level trough are generating a cloud band
that extends from central Queensland to eastern New South Wales and then out
over the Tasman Sea.

Low cloud is visible near the coast of the southern states in a cool southerly

While a surface trough is producing patchy middle level cloud and isolated
thunderstorms over the Bight.
