Low cloud can be seen in the wake of a weakening frontal system progressing
through the Tasman Sea. This cloud covers areas of SA, VIC, TAS and southern
NSW. A second front and associated cloud band has begun passing over TAS with
some thunderstorm activity evident to the south of the state.

Further to the north, a cloud band extends from central Queensland into the
Tasman Sea. This is associated with an upper trough.

Patchy low cloud remains about southern coastal areas of Western Australia while
another upper trough is responsible for the extensive cloud band extending into
the southwest of the state.
