The monsoon trough is aligned off the northwest coast of WA extending across
northern NT to the Gulf of Carpentaria and is generating thunderstorms within
its vicinity.

High level cloud can be seen streaming over Queensland. 

A long band of cloud stretching across Victoria and extending over the Tasman
Sea is associated with a low pressure trough lying over central Australia and
stretching across Victoria.

Another surface trough lies near the west coast of WA extending over the
southern coast. Isolated embedded thunderstorms persist within its vicinity.
