Isolated showers and thunderstorms remain about the eastern Pilbara district of
Western Australia. An upper level trough and jet stream is generating high level
cloud across the southern interior of Western Australia and the Bight, while a
strong cold front is impacting is the southwest of the state.

A weakening East Coast Low is located off the far northern NSW coast. Cloud and
thunderstorms are visible over the central Coral Sea and Tasman Sea due to
northeasterly flow and trough system. Only patchy low cloud extends over eastern
NSW and southeast Queensland.
