Patchy cloud can be seen over the northern tropics of Australia with isolated thunderstorms over waters to the north of the country.

A cold front is generating mid-level clouds and isolated thunderstorms over the southeastern parts of Australia.

Mid-level clouds extend over the Gascoyne district in WA, associated with Severe Tropical Cyclone "Jack" located to the far west.
