Extensive cloud and thunderstorms are visible in the vicinity of this system. A cloud band which extends from the Southern Ocean to eastern Tasmania and along the NSW south coast is wrapping into this low pressure system. A cloud band and area of isolated thunderstorms over New South Wales is associated a trough and low pressure system. While middle level cloud and thunderstorms can be seen near a cold front which is crossing the far southwest of WA. High level jet stream cloud stretches from central WA to southern Queensland.
