Cloud and thunderstorms are visible over northern Australia, associated with
surface troughs. The cloud is more extensive over northern WA and waters to the
north, the Gulf of Carpentaria, and eastern and central Queensland. Patchy
middle level cloud has also formed along western parts of southern WA, near a

Cloud over the southern Indian Ocean, extending to the west coast of WA, is due
to and upper trough and an approaching cold front.

A cold front can be seen moving across the Tasman sea. Onshore wind flow behind
the cold front is causing low cloud over southern Victoria, eastern New South
Wales and Tasmania.
