Tropical Cyclone Debbie (category 2) is located near Collinsville and is
tracking slowly southwest further inland. Widespread cloud with areas of rain
and isolated thunderstorms continue to affect central districts of Queensland.
High level cloud is streaming away from this system over southern Queensland.  

An active trough is producing extensive areas of thunderstorm activity across
the north and northwest of the country with a weak low located off the Kimberley
coast of WA. High cloud can be seen streaming across the southwest parts of WA.

A strong cold front is moving across the Southern Ocean towards the Bight and
the west coast of Tasmania.
