A broad area of low pressure extends across northern Australia causing cloud
with embedded thunderstorms over much of the Top End in the Northern Territory,
as well as northern and eastern WA, and the Far North Queensland.

An area of cloud with remanant thunderstorms also extends along the NSW coast
into northeastern New South Wales and southeast Queensland and is associated
with a trough.

The rest of the country remains mostly clear apart from some low cloud in the
Bight extending across Tasmania and southern Victoria.
