IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0600UTC chart on 31 August 2015 Issued at 6:35 pm EST Monday on 31 August 2015 An area of patchy cloud with a few embedded thunderstorms extends along the WA/NT border region to the western parts of South Australia and is associated with a slow-moving surface trough. A cold front and its associated cloud band are crossing the southwest of WA. Areas of patchy cloud can be seen ahead of this cold front over the central parts of WA. Low cloud linger over parts of Tasmania, southern Victoria and near the New South Wales coast within a moist southerly airstream. A deep low pressure system can be seen over the southwestern Tasman Sea well to the east of Tasmania.
