Satellite Notes for the 1200UTC chart on 04 October 2015
Issued at 11:18 pm EDT Sunday on 04 October 2015

Patchy high cloud associated with a weak upper trough is drifting across the
southeast of Australia. A cold front is moving across the southwest of WA and
cold air convective cloud can be seen to its west.

Areas of cloud about northern parts of the Territory and adjacent parts of
Queensland and WA are the remnants of afternoon convective activity. Onshore
southeasterly winds are also resulting in patchy cloud about the northeast coast
of Queensland. A high pressure ridge is maintaining clear conditions over most
of the remainder of Australia.
