The remnants of Tropical Cyclone Nathan are off the north Kimberley coast. Middle level cloud is streaming southwards from this area. Embedded thunderstorms are visible over northern parts of the Kimberley, mostly offshore. A surface trough over northwest and central Queensland has also triggered some convective activity from the southeast Gulf of Carpentaria through to central and eastern Queensland. The middle to upper-level cloud resulting from vigorous convective activity yesterday over western WA has now advected over South Australia and eastern WA.
