Satellite Notes for 0000UTC chart on 26 October 2014

Issued at 11:09 am EDT Sunday on 26 October 2014

A thick middle to upper level cloud band extends across South Australia and over western parts of Victoria. It is associated with a complex, broad area of low pressure.

Another middle level cloud band extends over Tasmania and the Tasman sea which is associated with a trough.

Patchy low level cloud over far southwestern parts of Western Australia has formed in the wake of a weak cold front that is now moving through the Bight.

The remainder of the country remains cloud free.
