Cloud with isolated thunderstorms extending from the northwest of WA into
southern parts of the NT, much of SA, NSW and southern QLD is due to a surface
and an upper level trough.

A cloud band associated with a cold front is evident over coastal South
Australia, extending to western Tasmania. Low level cloud ahead of this front
extends from southern NSW, across eastern Victoria and over eastern Tasmania.
Patches of low cloud over in the cold air in wake of this front can be is
evident over southern WA.

A high pressure system located over northeastern NSW extends a ridge along
Queensland's east coast. This is causing mostly clear conditions over areas in
the tropical north.
