The cold front that affected the southeast yesterday is now over the Tasman Sea.
The cloud associated with it has an area of embedded thunderstorms. Low cloud in
the wake of this front is over parts of the southeast.

Cloud over southeast Queensland is due to a surface trough.

A middle level cloud band extends across central Western Australia. This is
associated with a jetstream in the upper levels of the atmosphere.
