IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 1800UTC Chart 30 May 2016 Issued at 6:27 am EST Tuesday on 31 May 2016 A trough extends from central Australia through eastern South Australia to a low over the Great Australian Bight and is generating middle level cloud and isolated thunderstorms. Cloud from this system also extends on to southern parts of Queensland and northwest NSW. Patches of low cloud over the east coast of Queensland and central coast of NSW is due to an on shore southeast wind flow. A surface trough to the northwest of Australia has generated broad area of cloud and thunderstorms to the far northwest of Australia.
