A weakening low pressure system is located on the southwest coast of Western
Australia, producing cloud and showers over southwest WA and surrounding ocean

A middle level cloud band extends from northwest WA to the Bight, associated
with a trough. Cloud is streaming further through South Australia and New South
Wales into a region affected by a surface high pressure system. Skies are clear
over northern NSW, Queensland and the Northern Territory due to this high
pressure system and its associated ridge.

A cold front and pre-frontal trough is affecting Tasmania, bringing some showers
from middle level cloud.
