The monsoon trough is aligned off the northwest coast of WA extending across
northern NT to the Gulf of Carpentaria and is generating thunderstorms. Cloudy
conditions and isolated thunderstorms persist across large parts of northern
Australia.

A long band of scattered dry thunderstorms is associated with a low pressure
trough streteching across central WA, SA and through to western VIC.

A large area of thunderstorm activity in the centre of the continent is linked
to an upper level trough.

A cold front just to the east of Tasmania is generating mid level cloud.
