A broad cloud band extends from the Kimberley across the Northern Territory to
the southeast of the continent and is associated with surface and upper level
troughs. The surface trough has also brought thunderstorms over eastern Victoria
and the Tasman Sea.

A cold front and trough system is moving over western WA and low cloud ahead of
this system already covers parts of the central and western parts of the state.

Patchy low cloud can also be seen about the east coast of Queensland within a
moist southeasterly airflow. Patchy low cloud can also be seen over coastal
South Australia associated with moist onshore flow.
