Cloud over the Tasman Sea is associated with a deep low pressure system. Cold air in the wake of this system is over eastern New South Wales.
Cloud over southern Western Australia, South Australia and western Victoria is due to a low pressure trough, a cold front and an upper level jet stream.
Some high cloud is moving across the tropical north of the country.
