Tropical Cyclone Debbie (category 3) is located to the east of Townsville. The
rotation of this system can be clearly seen in the impressive and extensive mass
of cloud over the Coral Sea, which is also affecting parts of the east coast of
Queensland.

Ex-Tropical Cyclone Caleb is currently situated to the southwest of Indonesia in
the Indian Ocean. Ex-Tropical Cyclone Caleb is part of an active monsoon trough
which is producing extensive areas of thunderstorm activity across the north and
northwest of the country. Another low is located off the Kimberley coast of WA.

A cold front with associated band of cloud is moving towards Tasmania from the
Bight.
