The monsoon trough is aligned off the northwest coast of WA extending across
northern NT to the Gulf of Carpentaria and is generating thunderstorms within
its vicinity. Cloudy conditions and isolated thunderstorms persist across
northern Australia.

High level cloud can be seen streaming over central Queensland and NSW.

A long band of cloud with embedded thunderstorms over the Great Australian Bight
and into Bass Strait is associated with a low pressure trough stretching across
central SA and Victoria.

Another surface trough lies along the west coast of WA. Isolated thunderstorms
have developed within its vicinity.
