A cold front associated with a low pressure system near Adelaide is crossing
into western Victoria.
There are embedded thunderstorms evident within this cloud band, with more
frequent storms around the low. Areas of low cloud can be seen about the
southern coastal areas of Western Australia and South Australia within the moist
southerly flow behind the front.

An area of isolated thunderstorms just off the Kimberley coast is associated
with a weak low pressure system. An upper level jet stream is also generating
high cloud from this system and extending it onto northern Western Australia.

Similarly, in the southwest an upper level jet is directing high cloud over
southwest Western Australia.

A series of low pressure troughs in the Tasman Sea is generating a large area of
mainly middle and low cloud.
