Thunderstorms continue over the northern interior of Western Australia,
throughout the Northern Territory and parts of north Queensland. This activity
is the result of a humid unstable airmass combined with a broad low pressure
trough aligned through these areas. Thunderstorms are also visible in the
vicinity of a low pressure system over the Bight and about southeast Queensland.
Larger areas of thunderstorms area positioned off the NSW coast along a trough
while another area of storms is evident to the east of Lord Howe Island.

Elsewhere, patchy cloud is visible over the southern interior of Western
Australia and parts of South Australia. A cold front is moving to the south of
Western Australia with another front is developing in the cold air behind it.
Mostly clear skies across the southwest and central parts of Western Australia
and also the southeast of Australia due to ridges of high pressure.
