A cold front extends through the southeastern states with an inland trough
stretching back into central Australia. These systems are responsible for the
mid to high level cloud band with associated thunderstorm activity progressing
through the region.

Cellular cloud pushing into coastal and adjcaent areas of SA is associated with
the cold airmass the wake of this cold front.

A second cold front and associated cloud band extends over the far southwest of
WA.
