IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 06000UTC chart on 3 May 2015 Issued at 5:46 pm EST Sunday on 03 May 2015 Isolated showers and thunderstorms remain about the eastern Pilbara district of Western Australia. An upper level trough and jet stream is generating high and middle level cloud that has contracted to far southern parts of WA and SA and the Bight. A trough is over the southwest of Western Australia with a more intense front building behind it. Cloud associated with a cold front is moving east of Tasmania. Patchy cloud is visible over southern Victoria and Tasmania. A weakening East Coast Low is located off the far northern NSW coast. Cloud and thunderstorms are visible off the east coast, wrapping around the low. Only patchy, thinning cloud extends over eastern NSW and southeast Queensland.
