Low level cloud is over southern Victoria and southeast South Australia in a west-southwest airstream. Strong westerlies are bringing cloud to most of Tasmania. Cloud in the wake of a cold front is over the northern half of the New South Wales coast. Thunderstorm activity has begun near Mornington Island, Gulf of Carpentaria.
