A strong cold front is now located over central New South Wales and Victoria and
extends to the significant low pressure system over southeast South Australia.
This is generating a large cloud band and thunderstorm activity over most of New
South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and southern South Australia. A field of
convective cellular cloud can be seen in the cold air behind the front over far
south South Australia and Western Australia.

Low level cloud along the southern WA coast is due to an onshore southerly flow.

A surface trough extending from the Top End to central Queensland is generating
an extensive cloud band over Queensland with isolated thunderstorms.
