IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0600UTC chart on 25 November 2015 Issued at 6:08 pm EDT Wednesday on 25 November 2015 A broad area of cloud with embedded thunderstorms covers much of the east of Western Australia, with high cloud streaming across South Australia. This cloud lies to the east of a sharp upper trough. More extensive upper and middle level cloud is seen covering Tasmania and southern Victoria. Extensive thunderstorm activity is seen over remaining northern parts of WA. A trough extends from central areas of the Northern Territory and into central Queensland, and are triggering isolated thunderstorms. A cold front is rapidly moving east across the Southern Ocean towards Tasmania, with a large area of cold air behind the front represented by speckled cloud.
