Middle to high level cloud streaming across the central and eastern parts of the
continent is associated with an upper level trough and a jetstream. Isolated
thunderstorms can be seen over the southeast parts of Queensland as well as the
northern parts of Western Australia and the Northern Territory, in the vicinity
of surface troughs. 

A cold front with associated cloud band can be seen over the Tasman Sea to the
east of Tasmania. A large pool of cold air is visible behind the cold front
depicted by cellular low clouds and are affecting the southeast parts of the
country. Isolated thunderstorms can also be seen over Tasmania in this pool of
cold air.

Onshore wind flow is causing some low cloud about the southwest coast of Western
