A jetstream and upper level trough is resulting in a broad mass of middle and high level cloud streaming across the continent. This mass of cloud then connects with a trough advancing over the Tasman Sea. Scattered thunderstorm activity remains visible over the Kimberley region of Western Australia and also the Victoria River district of the Northern Territory.
Low level cloud is affecting southeast coastal parts of South Australia, as well as Victoria and Tasmania. This is due to the passage of a cold front over southern Victoria.
