A broad mass of cloud with embedded thunderstorms covers large parts of northern, central and southeastern Australia. This cloud is associated with areas of low pressure across the north and centre of the continent and a trough moving through South Australia.

A cloud band associated with a cold front is approaching Victoria and Tasmania. Low cloud can be seen along parts of the south coast of Western Australia within the SW airflow behind the front.
