This high level cloud merges with a cold front over the Tasman Sea. Another cold front is approaching the southwest of Western Australia. A ride of high pressure is maintaining clear conditions over the remainder of the country apart from patchy cloud about the north Queensland coast in an onshore southeasterly flow.
