A broad, slow moving cloud band extends from the Pilbara region of WA through
northern parts of South Australia and NSW. This cloud is due to an upper level
trough.

A cold front has moved off the NSW coast into the Tasman sea. Another cold front
is moving towards Tasmania. Cloud associated with this front is moving on to
Tasmania. Low level convective cloud also covers parts of south coast of
Australia due to a moist onshore air stream.

Convective cloud band near the north coast of the Top End is associated with a
weak trough and easterly surge over the Arafura Sea.
