Tropical Cyclone "Frances", Category 2, is located off the Kimberley coast of
Western Australia and features frequent thunderstorm activity. High level cloud
is streaming off this system across northern WA into central parts of the

A southwesterly airflow is maintaining low level cloud patches along the New
South Wales and Queensland coasts, as well as over much of Victoria, southern
NSW and southeast South Australia. Patchy low level cloud is seen covering
western Tasmania in a vigorous southwesterly airstream.

High level jetstream cloud is moving across northern South Australia. Patchy
middle level cloud covers parts of SA, northern Bight waters and southern WA
from an upper level trough.

A strong cold front with a pool of cold air behind it is crossing the Southern
