Middle and high level cloud, associated with a trough over the Indian Ocean,
extends over southwestern parts of WA.

A cold front is moving across Victoria and the far southeast of South Australia.
High cloud in advance of this system covers parts of New South Wales while
cold-air convective cloud in its wake covers parts of Tasmania.

Cloud embedded within a moist southeasterly trade wind flow lies over parts of
the Top End.

A broad area of deep convective cloud can be seen near the Solomon Islands and
is associated with Tropical Cyclone "Raquel".
