Cloud associated with a weakening frontal system covers large parts of Tasmania,
eastern Victoria and the southeast of New South Wales. Patchy low cloud in the
wake of this system remains about southern parts of South Australia and the
southwest of Victoria. Further to the north, a cloud band extends from the
northwest of Queensland to the southeast of the state and is associated with an
upper trough.

Patchy low cloud remains about southern coastal areas of Western Australia while
an extensive cloud band lies just off the WA west coast and is due to another
upper trough.
