A band of middle and high level cloud with embedded thunderstorms is streaming
from northeastern New South Wales to the Tasman Sea. This is associated with
surface and upper level troughs.

Isolated thunderstorms are visible over the Northern Territory and in the
vicinity of a broad surface trough over Western Australia.

A cold front is approaching Tasmania from the west with patchy high cloud
drifting across southwest parts of the continent.

The remainder of the country is generally clear.
