Cold airmass associated with a complex low pressure system near New Zealand is
causing showers and thunderstorms in the Tasman Sea and is affecting coastal
areas of southeast Australia.

A cold front and a low pressure system over southwest WA is generating low to
mid level cloud with shower and thunderstorm activity. Another cloud band
covering south coast and southern inland of WA and southwestern South Australia
is associated with a upper level trough.

The remainder of the country is mostly clear under the influence of a high
pressure ridge.
