IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 1200UTC Chart on 19 April 2018 Issued at 11:00 pm EST Thursday on 19 April 2018 A band of patchy middle level cloud stretching across central WA and into western parts of SA is associated with a trough. Thunderstorms are visible in the vicinity of this trough. Patchy low level cloud over the southwest corner of WA is being driven by a moist onshore airflow. An inland surface trough extending from central QLD to central NSW is generating an extensive band of middle to high level cloud. A line of thunderstorms are visible near the eastern flank of this trough. Onshore trade flow is producing patchy low level cloud along parts of the eastern coastline of QLD. Thunderstorms driven by surface convergence can be seen across parts of the Top End.
