A band of middle and high level cloud is streaming from central Australia
through South Australia and across the remainder of the southeast. This feature
is associated with low pressure trough and upper level trough. Isolated
thunderstorms remain over the Northern Territory and the interior of Western
Australia.

A cold front is approaching the west coast of Tasmania, a band of lower level
cloud associated with this system observed. Some high cloud is seen stretching
across western Tasmania ahead of the front.

A light and variable flow beneath a ridge of high pressure is allowing areas of
low cloud to linger along the southwest coastline of WA, while patchy low cloud
is also observed along the Queensland coast. The remainder of the country lies
under clear skies.
